Incidents

The intent of this page is to pass along challenging calls handled in Whitfield County that show exceptional teamwork between Whitfield EMS and our partners. Profiling such incidents will help promote awareness of the valuable services provided by the Public Safety professionals serving Whitfield County.

The pictures below show the efforts of Whitfield EMS, Dalton Fire Department, Dalton Police Department, Whitfield County Fire Department, and Whitfield County Sheriff Department.

I-75

The following accident took place in January 2003 on I-75 . Pictured below personnel are extricating the patient from the semi truck. Extrication took over 1 hour.

Cleveland Highway

This accident took place on Cleveland Highway across from K-Mart. Pictured below personnel are removing the roof of a late model car to extricate the patient safely. The patient was transported to Hamilton Medical Center for injuries sustained in the wreck and was later released.
