Whitfield EMS is proud to participate in the Safe Kids program. This program is part of the National Campaign (launched in 1988) to address following problem: more children under the age of 14 were being killed or injured by what people call accidents (motor vehicle crashes, fires, and other injuries) than by any other cause.
The SAFE KIDS Campaign enlists the help of corporations, government agencies, and the health and safety community dedicated to getting every child in a child safety seat and every child on a bicycle a helmet.
The vision of Safe Kids of Georgia in Dalton/Whitfield County is that our children will have a safe place to play, learn, grow, and succeed.
Our mission is to create a community where children are free from unintentional
injuries through Community education,
Distribution of safety equipment, Assistance of Enforcement/Advocacy.
